Onlookers in New York would have been forgiven for feeling a little taken aback, however, after the actress was spotted walking hand-in-hand with Charlie Chaplin. After the Latina singer's high-profile romances with P Diddy and actor Ben Affleck, diminutive funnyman Charlie might seem an unlikely escort for the Bronx-born star. Fans concerned about her marriage to Latin singer Marc Anthony needn't have worried, though, as the bowler-hatted comic seen at her side in Manhattan this week was in fact her husband, in his latest onscreen wardrobe.
The 47-year-old crooner donned his eye-catching costume to shoot a scene in his new flick, El Cantante, which tells the story of legendary salsa star Hector Lavoe. His transformation came just a few days after his wife, who also stars in the much-talked-about production, was snapped wearing make-up that made her look ten years older for another scene. Both Jennifer and her hubby suffered a scare earlier this week when an electrical fire broke out near their trailers on the set of the film. The couple had to be evacuated as a precaution, but the blaze was soon brought under control, allowing them to get back to work on their first movie collaboration.
