Jessica Simpson

Jessica woke up early, 6:15 actually. Everyone else was asleep so she quietly took a shower and got dressed.

She then ordered room service. She got herself waffles, which was her favorite breakfast. Just as she was finishing, Mel walked in from the bedroom. By now it was about seven o'clock. Melanie sat down and ordered some breakfast for herself and began to talk to Jessie. "Are you excited about today?" Mel asked her. "Yeah, sorta, but I am also nervous. And can I tell you something? Just don't tell anyone else, okay? And don't laugh!" Melanie nodded and Jessica continued "I am really excited to meet this Nick Lachey, you know the one who wrote that song." Jessica said as Melanie's eyes began to widen. "But Jess, you don't even know him. You haven't even spoke with him." Melanie said to Jessie. "I know, but I want to" Jessica replied.

Shortly after, Ashlee woke up and came in to talk with them. Jessica told Ashlee what she told Melanie, and got pretty much the same reaction. Ashlee had order breakfast too and quickly ate it. Once they were all done, they gave Tina and Joe a call. Tine and Joe came over to the girl's suite. Joe talked with Larry on the phone to get all the last details of the day. Jessica was warming up her voice and getting ready for her performance. She had her Mom, sister, and Mel helped her get her hair done perfectly. Once they were all ready to go, they called for their ride and headed down to the lobby. They got in their car and it took them to their destination. The concert was outside at a huge stadium. They were dropped off in the back where there were no crazy fans and they went backstage to get ready. The concert was just beginning as they arrived. Jessica was told all the last minute things that she needed to know and they told her that she could go wait in the audience and enjoy the show until they called for her. Jessica, Ashlee, and Melanie found a place to stand in the front row. They watched all the performances and Jessica could hardly believe that she would be up there that day performing as well. She watched intently trying to study what each singer did so that she would know what to do once she got up to perform. Her dad came over to her and said that once this next song was over she would need to go backstage. She then turned her attention back to the concert and what she saw left her breathless.
