"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have gone there" Nick apologized to her.

He then saw the hurt and anger vanish from her eyes. "No, it's okay. It's not your fault; I just have some trouble talking about it, that's all. See, when I was really young, my dad would molest me" she paused "and when I would try to fight him or get away, he would beat me." Nick was shocked. He couldn't believe that anyone would want to hurt such a beautiful person, inside and out that is. "My God, Jessica, I, I really don't know what to say." Nick really couldn't come up with something to say. He was so enraged that someone would want to hurt her. "It's okay Nick, I'm okay now." She understood him and what he was thinking; she could see it in his face. Just then, their food came. They began to eat and talked a little. Jessica learned that Nick had gone to Miami University. He had become a licensed professional trainer. He also was licensed in massage therapy. He even offered to be her trainer, for free. Then nick brought up 98 degrees upcoming tour. "Jess, I don't know if Larry had mentioned it yet, but the guys and I would like you to open for us during our world wide tour." Jessica was shocked and excited at this news. "Actually, Larry has not mentioned it yet, but it sounds like it would be awesome." She said with a huge smile that made nick's heart melt. Nick was so happy that she liked the idea; this would give him time to spend with her. "I was thinking, would you like to come back to my hotel room after dinner and watch a movie? I just got Beverly Hills Cop I, II, and III." He asked her. She paused for a moment thinking. He was asking her to go back to HIS hotel room alone with him. She wondered what he really had in mind. Nick realized what she was thinking. "Jessica, I'm really just asking to watch a movie with you, nothing more, I'm not like that. I would just like spend more time with you that's all, but if you don't want to, that's fine." Nick explained to her. "I would love to go" Jess told him. The waiter then came and took their empty plates and Nick ordered a Sundae for desert. He told Jessica that they would split it. The waiter came back with the sundae and they began to eat it. Once they were done, Nick got and paid the bill. Jessica realized just how expensive their dinner must have been. "Here nick, let me pay the tip," she told him pulling $40 out of her purse. "Jessica, Jessica, Jessica, If there is one thing you'll learn about me, is that whenever we go out, you're not paying for anything." Nick said with a bit of a laugh. "Whenever we go out" Jessica repeated. "Yeah, I guess that's my way of telling you that I would love to go out with you again," he told her. "I would love that too" she felt butterflies in her stomach. Nick felt on top of the world. He knew that this girl, Jessica Simpson, was the one. He couldn't explain it; he just knew she was the one he would spend the rest of his life with. Jessica and nick were told that the limo was there so they headed out to their ride and got in. This time, Jessica sat right next to Nick, and put her hand in his and placed it on her thigh. Jessica then laid her head on his shoulder. She couldn't explain it, but it just felt so right being with him.
