They all got in their lanes. They decided they would play three against three.

Nick, Jessica, and Jeff played against Drew, Leah, and Justin. “What would you like?” Nick asked Jessica as he went to go get some food for himself. “Ummm… a diet coke and some fries, please” Jessica replied. Nick got up and went to go get their food. “So, Jessica, you live in Texas?” Leah asked her just as Nick was coming back. “Yeah, I‘m defiantly a southern girl.” Jessica said exaggerating her accent. “My God, you live in Texas” Nick said almost as if he didn’t want to believe it as he put their food down. “Yeah, baby, I told you that yesterday.” she told him not understanding what he was getting at. “I live in Cincinnati.” Nick said as if it was the end of the world, because to him it was. “Oh.” Jessica said feeling the same way as he was. “But, I‘m moving to L.A. as soon as we can find a place.” Jessica said, feeling the light at the end of the tunnel. “I‘m trying to buy a condo here too.” Nick said breathing a sign of relief. “My dad thinks he found a house, so it‘ll probably be a month or so before I move.” she told him. “By then, I‘ll have my condo” he informed her. “I guess I‘ll have to come visit you in Texas” he joked. “Sounds good to me.” she laughed. “But, I will miss you.” she told him as he bent down and kissed her. “Enough of this mushy-mushy stuff. Can we just get on with the game” Drew complained. “Shut it!” Nick shouted. “It wouldn‘t hurt if you acted more like your brother.” Leah said. “I can be sweet and charming, just not in public” Drew said. “Yeah, uh huh.” Leah laughed. “Okay, let’s get this game started.” Jeff said as he picked up the bowling ball.

They played the game and Nick, Jess, and Jeff won. They played 3 other games after that. They then left and headed out to dinner. They were seated and they all chatted a little before the waiter took their order. “So, when is your album coming out?” Justin asked Jessica. “Well, I don‘t really know, I only have 3 songs recorded for it. My label wants to release it in September, so I will be doing a lot of recording this summer.” she told them. “I have been spending a lot of time trying to write songs, for the past 6 months or so, and well we‘ve gotten nowhere and the label is getting angry, so I need to get this album out soon.” she explained to them. “Everything will be fine, and you‘re album will be a hit, trust me” Nick reassured her.
After they ate the bill came. “You wanna split the bill?” Drew asked. “Sounds good to me” Jeff said. Jessica then reached for her credit card. Nick stopped her. “What are you doing?” Nick asked her. “We‘re splitting the bill.” she said not understanding what he was saying. “Yeah, but I‘m not letting you pay, I am” he told her. “You’re so sweet, but seriously, I can pay for my own meal.” she protested. “But, I don‘t want you to.” he smiled as he handed his credit card to the waiter to pay for his and Jessica’s meal.
