Jessica Simpson

Jessica’s father's name is art. He and her mother, Tina separated when Jessica was 11. Her mom then met a man, Joe, whom she married. Joe had a daughter Ashlee, who is Jessica’s step sister. Because Jessica and her real father, art had a bad relationship and Jessica wanted nothing to do with him, Joe became her father and Ashlee her sister. Jessica didn't care that he was her stepfather and Ashlee was her stepsister. So in other words, they formed a very tight bond. When her parents, Joe and Tina that is, got married they moved to Texas where Joe was a minister in a local church. Jessica began singing in the choir and learned that she had a natural talent for singing. Her parents supported her dream of becoming famous, so she was able to record a demo, and then got picked up by Columbia records at the age of 16.
