Rumors of Jessica and Nick Split: Not True

US Weekly recently reported that Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are no longer together. This is certainly not the first time that a gossip magazine declares this couple to be split, but yet again it appears to be untrue.
Unsurprisingly, US Weekly did not turn away from E! Online's tale of porcing newly weds, and stated that the blame of the porce was on Jessica. According to US Weekly: "Details on Jessica & Nick's last days - and how her ego, partying and dad drove them apart."
The report was quickly countered by Nick's representative:
"Nick and Jessica have not separated. Rumors to the contrary are simply not true."
Comments from Nick himself followed:
"We're doing real well," Lachey told me Tuesday before Game 1. "I actually wanted to go to the Angels game but my wife's coming home tonight and I want be with her."Looks like everything is fine in this marriage.
